The Board of Directors of the Institute for Preventative Sports Medicine are individuals deeply involved in both research and clinical medical practice in the fields of orthopedic and sports medicine. The combination of their research experience and clinical work in the treatment and rehabilitation of professional and amateur athletes is essential to formulating realistic research goals for the Institute. We are privileged to have board members who have been, and continue to be active amateur athletes. Their experience of sports medicine, seen from the athlete's perspective, is a valuable asset for grounding the Institute's programs in pragmatic approaches to achieving the goals of safer, healthier sport at every level.
