Members of the Board of Directors and Advisory Council at The Institute for Preventative Sports Medicine have continued to present information throughout North America as well as on an international basis on our injury prevention and health care cost containment approach. Feature presentations on prevention were given at the Michigan State Medical Society Annual Meeting. The Institute hosted a seminar focusing on injuries within sport, as well as their prevention. The Institute’s research was also featured in keynote presentations at the Wyoming Medical Society Annual Meeting in Jackson, WY., the Hershey Track and Field Annual Meet, the Case Management Society of Michigan Annual Meeting, the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses Annual Meeting, the Michigan Association for Health Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Annual Meeting. The Governor’s Council Annual Meeting in Jackson, MI as well as multiple physician meetings throughout the state of Michigan. The Institute’s work was featured on several websites including: momsteam.com as well as enabled.com. The Institute’s Research has also been featured on PBS, on Scientific American Frontiers with Alan Alda, as well as the Scientific American Frontier website.
